Future For Africa welcomes volunteers from all around the world, and it relies on volunteers to achieve its goals.
In order to use the majority of our donations and resources. we rely on a team of dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents to help us succeed. We are always looking for participants to expand and grow as an organization. We need people like you !
Please see below for a list of projects that might interest you. Opportunities include placements in our Education, Childcare, Water & Sanitation and Healthcare programs. You are also welcome to suggest relevant projects that you wish to carry out.
General Requirements:
We require no formal qualifications, however, volunteers should be over 17 years old. Special consideration is given to individuals below 17 years old and who are traveling with a team, group or family.
Volunteers should possess the following attributes:
1. A reputable background;
2. An ability to work under minimal supervision;
3. Creativity and motivation to implement projects that will benefit the community;
4. Good communication skills;
5. Ability to adapt to different cultures;
6. Friendliness and a desire to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and their communities.
It costs $500 a month, per person to volunteer with F4A,
Included in the cost of volunteering with us
-Accommodation
-3meals a day
-Transportation (airport pickups)
– Water and Utilities
– Administrative support by the staff as you volunteer
The little participants pay is divided into three parts, where 70% goes to the program-participants costs during the stay. Another 20% goes directly into our development projects. The final 10% will be spent on administrative costs.
