We support teachers and pupils at the Yikene School and nearby rural communities through classroom assistance, mentorship and engaging learning activities. By working with volunteers and partners, we help reduce educational inequality and create brighter futures for every child.
We bring essential medical care to underserved rural communities in Northern Ghana. In partnership with medical volunteers and organizations, we organize outreach programs that provide free health screenings, consultations, medications, and public health education.
Driven by our commitment to human dignity and wellbeing, our Water Project works to bring safe, clean drinking water to rural communities in Ghana. Through careful community assessments and strong partnerships, we fund and construct sustainable wells.
We are building a community training center where women, youth, children, and disadvantaged groups can gain practical skills. We also support schools by improving classrooms, helping children learn with comfort and hope.
Future For Africa was founded in 2014 and has ever since been run by locals. Since 2016 volunteers and interns from all around the world have come to help Future For Africa extend its impacct.

Thanks to Future4Africa I spent an unforgettable month in Bolgatanga (Ghana), as general nurse, participating in the different projects the NGO runs among the year (health, education, sports, orphanage and library projects). To me it’s been one of the best experiences of my life not only personally but professionally. Eternally grateful. THANKS. I’ll come back soon!!
just got back to Spain after spending 5 weeks with them and my experience was outstanding. The organizers are super open people and always willing to help you with whatever you need. The people in Bolgatanga are wonderful, being with them feels like family. Can’t wait to see you again
Throughout my life I’ve done several volunteer programs, but this has been one of the most incredible, one of the best experiences of my life. I spent 1 month as a nurse carrying out screenings in 3 communities.
The coordinators are very kind and committed people who are transparent about how funds are used. In weekends, we visited places like the National Park or spend a night in a community and learn about their culture.
We will be so happy to hear from you, don’t be afraid to share your thoughts with us.
We will try to get back to you ASAP!
